CEI and DIRTT were chosen for the new state-of-the-art University of Hawaii Information Technology Center. While environmentally sustainable, flexible, unique and highly productive, DIRTT was the perfect solution to reflect the objectives of this technically advanced building. With technology changing by the minute, the University required accessibility, adaptability, aesthetic, function and sustainability, all of which DIRTT certainly delivered. DIRTT’s modular plug-and-play power and data networks integrate directly into DIRTT pre-Constructed Walls, providing more control for the University operations. DIRTT’s functional agility is not only suited for present operations and future plans, potential reconfigurations that the University may require would occur with the least amount of disruption, waste and noise. Overall, the IT Building is an educational tool itself, the IT building shares the advancement of information technology with the positive benefits of sustainable technologies.
